Mari Palta

Dr. Mari Palta is the Principal Investigator of Diabetes Registry Study. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Biometry and has a background in Epidemiology and in Statistics. She is a professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mari’s interest is in long term follow-up studies of individuals with health conditions diagnosed in childhood and youth, including those with type 1 diabetes and those born at very low birth weight. Her background allows her to develop improved methods for conducting and analyzing data from these studies.
