Barbara Klein

Dr. Barbara Klein is a Co-Investigator on the Diabetes Registry Study. She received her M.D. at the New York University School of Medicine and her M.P.H. at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Barbara is a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her research and clinical experience in age-related and diabetes-related eye disease is extensive, including the internationally recognized studies, The Wisconsin Epidemiologic Study of Diabetes Retinopathy (WESDR) and the Beaver Dam Eye Study. Barbara will collaborate in reviewing, analyzing and reporting eye results from the study.
